Like it or not Trump is the President. Let him do his job and leave him alone. This gets tiring:
Let him do his job. The country will be better off.
He is going to be hamstrung because he is a lame duck.
Maybe they repeal the 22ND amendment so he can run again.
We can only hope. Things were starting to turn around then Biden happened.
I hope he is able to secure our border.
Do any of you watch Shawn Ryan? I’m worried about what has already been smuggled in.
The whole “see something, say something” campaign is now more important than ever.
On top of the list. I’m sure he will.
I have to be honest, as somebody from the UK who admittedly doesn’t know an awful lot about US policitics, I was still absolutely shocked that Trump was re-elected. I mean, I wasn’t completely shocked when it actually happened - he was the favourite to actually beat Kamala Harris the day before election day after all - but I was shocked that he was actually selected as the candidate, after what happened at the US Capitol at the end of his last presidency.
I really did think that America would see that he was at the very least at some significant fault for his part in that episode, and that he didn’t react very presidentially by immediately coming out and condeming and calling for an immediate cessation of violence. That being said, I understand why some Americans gravitate towards him - whilst he undoubtedly does tell a lot of lies, and nobody will ever be able to convince me differently, I do believe he genuinely has the interests of America as his number one priority, even if some of the things he does don’t always work out in the best interests of the country. His intentions when it comes to protecting his country at least seem genuine, for the most part.
We have been led down a path by lifelong politicians that do nothing but line their own pockets. The country was falling deeper and deeper into financial hell. We needed a businessman to start the turn around. Trump was that guy. All his supporters and even some of the opposition realized that Biden almost totally bankrupt the country. They seen the good Trump did during his term. We voted him again because he is good for the country.
Today is inauguration day. The day the U.S. starts down a path to greatness again.
I’m glad to see him designate cartels as terrorist organizations. It’s because of them that our kids and other people are all drugged out. Most of those drugs are brought here by cartels. If Mexico doesn’t want to help stop them, then we will go to them and stop them.
Many good things in his speech. I hope he does follow through and it isn’t just some saber rattling.
Just with regard to this specifically, isn’t Trump somewhat of a failed businessman? How many times has he been bankrupted, for example? It’s not like he “made” his money either, it was an inheritance, no…?
